I loved this book! I found that the fifth grade social studies curriculum fit in with this book and how she moves into a whole new area. Analyze how absolute and relative location influence ways of living in the United States and other countries of North America. I really enjoyed this book. I thought it was a great was to teach about the history of the Brooklyn Bridge. I also thought it was great that the little girl in the story came up with the idea to show people how the bridge was safe to walk on. This would be a great book to help the kids with confidence.
